Warriors for Peace Film Premier!

 

Many thanks to all of those who came out to our Warriors for Peace Film Premier on June 20, 2012!

It was a fun filled evening with family, friends, community members and four great mini documentaries and one surprise tribute video for the Warriors created by our very own Executive Director, Sherilyn Tran.

Each video was unique but still shared the common theme of violence in our communities. Everything from gang violence, dating violence, misconceptions and the beauty of Oakland were covered by the Warrior’s videos.

In the end, the Warriors participated in a Q&A session with the audience and received their hard earned $200 stipends after and extensive 32 week program.
