Oakland Youth Empowering Advocates (OYEA)
The Oakland Youth Empowering Advocates (OYEA) are The Spot’s youth advisory and leadership council. They build up leadership, public speaking and facilitations skills by planning events, running activities and helping outreach/publicize for The Spot.
OYEAs meet the first and third Tuesday of each month from 4:00 to 6:00pm. On the weeks where they aren’t meetings, OYEAs are expected to work internship hours at The Spot where they help out in a number of ways.
OYEAs that fulfill their commitments receive a monthly stipend. To apply contact Mike Tran firstname.lastname@example.org
